MANILA—Games and Amusements Board chairman Baham Mitra lauded the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 for its handling of its planned bubble inside the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba.
"I am impressed with the preparations being done by Chooks-To-Go 3x3 tournament organizers," Mitra said on Monday night, moments after inspecting a dry run of the said bubble.
He also said that he is impressed that the league leveled things up in terms of keeping everyone safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"They did not just meet the requirements but improved on their submitted safety protocols," Mitra further said.
With that said, he expressed bullishness that the President's Cup, scheduled for an Oct. 2 start, will be a huge success.
"I'm confident of its success and it will be a notch everybody will be looking up to," Mitra concluded.
