MANILA, Philippines - After being granted a provisional license to play for the upcoming PFL season, Maharlika FC happily announced on Monday night in their Facebook page that it will represent Manila in their initial quest in the professional league.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno joined with photo ops with club's key player, coach and owner after talks of sponsorship signifying the official attribution as club's 12th man for their debut in the professional league.
Maharlika FC was granted provisional license by the Philippine Football Federation last September 1 as a result of efforts made by owner and former Azkals defender Anton Del Rosario, which started just as the second half of 2020 began.
The debuting club contains players like Japanese-Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga and former Azkals forward Misagh Bahadoran.
