MANILA—PBA players who attended a meeting with Commissioner Willie Marcial are one in the willingness to be put up inside a bubble just for the postponed season to push through.

"Lahat sila willing maglaro sa NBA type bubble or semi-bubble. Ayaw nila ng closed-circuit. They requested to do away with it," Marcial said just after the dialogue that took place on Wednesday.

Marcial is expected to air the players' concerns to the PBA board in its meeting on Thursday, where the final format of the season will be determined.

He also said that it is now likely that the remainder of the season will be compacted into a two-month time frame.

"We're looking at finishing the eliminations in one month, then the quarterfinals in four to five days, then best-of-five (semifinals) and best-of-seven (finals)," Marcial continued.

With the plan of ending the regular season quickly, it is also possible that games will be played daily.
