MANILA—Do not be surprised if Lito Adiwang tries his luck in the One Super Series.

Adiwang said on Wednesday that he is open to competing in One Championship's kickboxing arm.

"There’s a perfect time for everything, and if that time comes, I would love to compete in One Super Series," said Adiwang, Team Lakay's latest star.

Adiwang can be a good fit to One Super Series since he was a former national wushu champion.

One has allowed its fighters to bounce around kickboxing and MMA, citing Nong Stamp and Fabio Pinca as examples.

Stamp and Pinca, both known as champion kickboxers, have begun carving an MMA career.

However, Adiwang clarified that he remains focused on his MMA career.

"Right now though, I need to focus on my MMA career and prove myself in my division. I want to become an MMA world champion," said Adiwang, who has won his last seven MMA fights.

Despite this, he may take a glance at the main event of One: A New Breed 2 between Sean Clancy and Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym.

"In this fight, I have to go for Pongsiri," Adiwang gave his forecast of the bout.

He then explained, "I believe Pongsiri will bring everything he’s got into this fight. For me, he has the edge in experience and his fighting style is aggressive. He’s a pressure fighter who loves to come forward. I see him winning the fight by attacking with powerful striking combinations, putting the pressure on Clancy until he breaks him down."

One: A New Breed 2 has been pre-recorded from the Impact Arena in Bangkok and will be shown on Friday night.
