MANILA - Blacklist International inch closer to a possible top seed berth as they sweep a hapless Blu Fire squad in Week 7 of MPL-PH on Saturday.
It was Blacklist's fifth sweep of the series, who saw themselves on the driver's seat in all two games, not letting Blu Fire to have a solid gold lead.
Blacklist International dominated in the first game, which saw all six Blu Fire outfield turrets going down before the eighth minute.
Blu Fire were only limited to one purple buff the entire 12 minutes as Blacklist also managed to steal their objectives while pressuring all three lanes.
Edward's Chang'e was the star of the show after chalking a 5/0/9 KDA for a 17-2 Blacklist win.
With a slower Game 2 on their hands, Blu Fire tried to go for more team fight and even taking several crucial kills in the early parts of the game only for Blacklist International to bounce back.
However, after a technical pause, Blacklist go all in and took down the remaining Blu Fire turrets in the 11th minute, and with the lord in their side, successfully destroyed Blu Fire's base.
Full Clip's Lancelot was the main man for Blacklist International as he registered three kills and five assistrs in a 12-6 victory.
Blacklist solidified their second place in Group A with 20 points and a 6-4 slate while Blu Fire went down further with 0-11 and just two points.
Blu Fire will meet another strong candidate in Bren Esports on Sunday while Blacklist will try to extend their streak against Cignal Ultra on the same day.
