MANILA--In what is seen as another step towards his return, Phoenix inserted Calvin Abueva into its official lineup for the upcoming PBA bubble.
As the rosters were revealed on Tuesday, the name of Abueva, currently serving an indefinite suspension from the league, can be seen in the Fuel Masters' list.
The PBA clarified that he still needs to accomplish some requirements before he can finally play.
Abueva is currently attending an online seminar put up by the Games and Amusements Board on its Code and Conduct of a Professional Athlete.
Attending the seminar is one of two conditions GAB gave to Abueva to formalize the reactivation of his professional license.
Phoenix is scheduled to play in Day 2 of the league restart on Monday night against Meralco.
On whether Abueva finally submits all his prerequisites before game time remains to be seen.
