MPL-PH: Bren takes 9th win over BSB

by Drew Malihan

MANILA - Bren Esports adds another win in their column as they sweep a struggling BSB side in the seventh week of MPL-PH Season 6.

It was Bren's second sweep in a row after dealing a 2-0 beating of Nexplay Solid last Sunday, while the srires was BSB's seventh defeat in a sweep.

It was a typical domination for the league-leading Bren Esports as they lead throughout the entire game, not letting Drixx get his items.

Despite Lusty's absence, Bren easily took Game 1 with a 17-3 beating with KarlTzy's Wanwan tallying a MVP-worthy 7/0/4 KDA.

BSB never gave up in the second game and even led in the early minutes of the second game, scoring kills in their team plays.

However, Bren quickly adjusted their game and scored crucial kills and turrets to pressure BSB to play defense around their base.

With the sanctuary lord on Bren's side in the 17th minute, it was all Bren Esports until the end game, as BSB tried to prolong the game but to no avail with Ribo and KarlTzy getting their kills despite the lord getting slain eventually.

KarlTzy's Lancelot's 8/1/11 performance led Bren to a rather close 25-18 second game as they improved to a 9-1 record and 26 points, while BSB slips to 1-10 and six points.

BSB will try to salvage their season against Execration on Sunday, while Bren will try to solidify their top-seed form against Blu Fire on the same day.
