PBA restarts with Sunday twinbill

MANILA--The PBA will resume its season with a doubleheader on Sunday night.

According to the release of the bubble schedule on Tuesday, the league will restart with the showdown between TNT and Alaska at 4 p.m. followed by the 6:45 p.m. battle between NLEX and Ginebra.

The PBA initially revealed on Monday night that the game between the Road Warriors and the Barangay will be in the first day of the Angeles bubble.

Next Monday, Phoenix will begin the Topex Robinson era with a showdown against Meralco at 4 p.m.

On whether Calvin Abueva will finally suit up for the Fuel Masters in their 4 p.m. game against the Bolts after a 15-month suspension remains to be seen.

In the main game at 6:45 p.m., Blackwater will take on NorthPort.

Next Tuesday, Rain Or Shine opens its campaign against opening night winner San Miguel at 4 p.m., and Terrafirma battles returning TNT at 6:45 p.m.

On Oct. 14, Magnolia, the other team that already played in the season opener on March 8, returns to action against NLEX at 6:45 p.m., right after the 4 p.m. curtain raiser between Meralco and Alaska.

Doubleheaders will be played everyday until March 11 at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.
