MANILA—Pending the approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force, the PFL looks to finally begin its fourth season on Oct. 24.

In fact, the league released its opening weekend schedules on Friday.

Guest club Azkals Development Team battles Mendiola in the season opener on Saturday night at 4:30 p.m. followed by the showdown between powerhouses Stallion Laguna and Kaya Iloilo at 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday night, defending champion United City begins its title defense against newcomer Maharlika Manila at 5 p.m.

All the six participating clubs will play a single round robin format, which means each team will play five games in the regular season.

The full schedule is yet to be released, although United City announced that it will face Mendiola on Oct. 28 at 4:30 p.m., ADT on Halloween night at 5 p.m., Stallion Laguna on Nov. 4, and rival Kaya Iloilo on Nov. 8, both kicking off at 8:30 p.m.

All the matches will take place at the PFF National Training Centre in Carmona as part of the planned bubble.

Regarding the accommodation of the players and officials, the PFL is looking at Seda Nuvali in Sta. Rosa City as its official residence.
