MANILA--Phoenix coach Topex Robinson longed for the day Calvin Abueva will return to action after a 16-month suspension.

But even if the time finally arrived on Monday night, Robinson still found it surreal, all the more that Abueva put up numbers usual of "The Beast" as if he never left basketball at all.

"It's really very magical that he's here again," Robinson said after the Fuel Masters, behind Abueva's triumphant return, scored a huge win against the NLEX Road Warriors at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Robinson further said, "We're just happy to have him back."

He then expressed his gratitude to the PBA's top officials for finally allowing Abueva to play after a disciplinary action that lasted for over a year.

"We want to thank the Commissioner's office and the board of governors for finally allowing him to inspire a lot of people and play his heart out," Robinson further said.

However, he also gave his credit to the rest of the Phoenix side for not faltering despite trailing by as much as 14 points.

"I just have to credit these guys that they gave their best again. They never stopped playing," Robinson quipped.
