SMB cripples Meralco in final frame to steal win

MANILA--San Miguel used a fourth quarter turnaround to rally past Meralco, 89-82, in the lone PBA game on Wednesday night at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Down 60-69 after three cantos following the Bolts' third quarter blitz, the Beermen outscored them, 29-13, in the final period to snatch the victory.

Mo Tautuaa continues to emerge as SMB's top big man this season, leading the team to its fourth win against two losses with 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Arwind Santos put up vintage numbers of 17 markers, 11 boards, three dimes, two steals, and one block.

Baser Amer paced Meralco, which fell to 3-3, with 17 points, one carom, and one steal.
