MANILA--Paul Lee continued his recent sizzle on Saturday night as Magnolia upended Rain Or Shine, 70-62, in their PBA game at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Lee finished with 31 points for the Hotshots, but his last four points eventually sealed their fourth straight win as they had to withstand one last stand from the Elasto Painters.

Magnolia gave ROS, the league's top defensive team in terms of points conceded, a dose of its own medicine by holding them to just five second quarter points before opening a 39-21 halftime lead.

However, the Elasto Painters came alive in the second half and were just down four, 62-66, with 1:31 to play.

Lee finally shut the door on them as he converted back-to-back jumpers that eventually iced the game.

Lee also had five rebounds, two assists, and one block as Magnolia is now at 5-4, joining San Miguel in a tie for sixth place.

Ian Sangalang added 14 points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Kris Rosales put up 14 points, eight rebounds, and one assist for ROS, which lost its third straight game.
