CARMONA - A five-goal barrage in the latter third of the match hands the Azkals Development Team the win over Maharlika Manila FC in the continuation of the 2020 Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways at the PFF National Training Center.

It was a stalemate in the first 59 minutes of the match, not letting each chances to convert into goals, but ADT played more aggressively with four shots already in the first 45 minutes and two-thirds of the ball possession.

The tide changed when Dingdong Fornea clips Chima Uzoka inside the box as they contested for the ball, calling a penalty against Maharlika Manila, which Jarvey Gayoso converted into the goal in the 60th minute which went past Henri Bandeken Fong's guard, opening the floodgates for ADT.

Marvin Angeles four minutes later plays a through ball in the right flank to Lance Ocampo, who saw Yrick Gallantes going inside the penalty spot and converting Ocampo's pass into a goal to put the young Azkals side uo two goals to none.

Gayoso broke Maharlika's offside trap in the 76th minute as he ran after the kick from the midfield sends him to the left flank, then sends the ball to Uzoka, who converted it into his first PFL goal.

Christian Rontini, who subbed late in the game for Jerome Marzan, intercepts a clearance from Bandeken Fong, who played a one-two with Angeles and Gayoso before finding Uzoka and getting his second goal in the 90th minute, and the fourth for ADT.

The boys in red did not waste time and took the ball shortly after play has resumed, with Gayoso finsing Angeles for another attempt but the Cameroonian goalie saving it for Maharlika Manila.

Ocampo intercepts a clearing from MJ Libre and passed it to Gayoso, who went past Peter Varley in the right flank and sending Bandeken Fong down in the wrong direction for the fifth ADT goal of the match.

Gayoso was hailed man of the match with two goals and two assists in the ADT captain's name.

ADT improved to two wins and two defeats with a 6-0 record, while sending Maharlika's top three finish hopes to naught with a one-win, three-loss record.

Maharlika will close the season versus Mendiola on November 9 while ADT will complete their impressive PFL run as they face Stallion Lagun on the same day.
