MANILA--San Miguel ended its PBA elimination round campaign on a high note after romping NorthPort, 120-99, on Tuesday night at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

The Beermen exploded in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Batang Pier, 33-17, in the second quarter before dropping 43 points in the third to pull away for good.

Arwind Santos put up 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and one block for SMB, which upped its chances of nailing a Top 4 finish in the regular season by going up to 7-4.

Making the Top 4 will also merit a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

Marcio Lassiter and Mo Tautuaa each added 21 markers.

Kelly Nabong fired 29 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal for NorthPort, which fell to 1-9.
