MANILA—Some parts of the North Luzon Expressway have been drenched by heavy rains brought by Typhoon "Ulysses" on Thursday, prompting three teams already eliminated from the PBA bubble to remain in Angeles for the meantime.

Ironically, NLEX's PBA team was among those affected by the flooding as well as Terrafirma and Blackwater.

The three aforementioned clubs were to leave the bubble Thursday afternoon, but due to the stormy weather, their departure was stalled.

The other also-ran team after the regular season, NorthPort, already returned home on Wednesday right after its game against Meralco.

Meanwhile, there were uprooted trees and fallen branches at the surroundings of Quest Hotel in the said city during the typhoon's ravage.

Pampanga was among those heavily hit by the storm since its eye traversed the province earlier in the day.

The weather in mainland Luzon is expected to ease up gradually as Ulysses has already exited to the West Philippine Sea.
