MANILA--In his first start of the PBA season, Calvin Abueva dropped a triple-double.

Abueva's redemption arc continued on Tuesday with a solid all-around performance to lead Phoenix to a 116-94 rout of Terrafirma on Tuesday at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Making his first start of the year, the six-foot-three swingman tallied 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists with three steals as the Fuel Masters dropped 36 points on the Dyip in the second quarter while holding them to just 16 in the third to pull away for good.

Overall, Phoenix dished out a league season-high 33 dimes.

Like Abueva's comeback game last week, Matt Wright exploded anew for the Fuel Masters, scoring 33 points on 13-of-21 shooting, four rebounds, six assists, and five steals as he towed them to their fifth win of the season against three losses.

In his first game against his former Lyceum mentor Topex Robinson, CJ Perez dropped 32 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal, but he still could not lift the Dyip out of the winless slump, which is now at six straight games.
