MANILA—If ever the PBA still decides to hand out individual awards for its bubble season, either Matt Wright or Jason Perkins may get the top prize.

The Phoenix teammates are on pace to get the Most Valuable Player award assuming the league opts to give it out.

Wright is ahead of pack with 39.5 average statistical points after the elimination round, while Perkins is third with 35.5.

Sandwiched in between is Terrafirma's CJ Perez, who has 35.7 average SP's, but with his team already eliminated and Phoenix heading to the semifinals, Perkins can overtake Perez once the quarterfinal stats are to be tallied as well.

Perez was to leave the bubble the leading scorer after the regular season with 24.4 points per game.

Also in the running is TNT's Ray-Ray Parks, who is fourth after the eliminations with 35.2 average SP's.

In fifth is NorthPort's Chris Standhardinger with 34.6 average SP's while Parks' fellow Tropang Giga players RR Pogoy (34.3) and Jayson Castro (33.6) are sixth and seventh respectively.
