MANILA--Thirdy Ravena made a comeback after recovering from COVID-19 on Saturday, but it was his fellow imports who carried the fight as San-En snapped a long skid with an 83-69 road win against Hokkaido in a battle between B.League cellar dwellers at the Hokkai Kitareyu Arena in Hokkaido.
Kyle Hunt and Stevan Jelovac each tallied 20-point double-doubles to lead San-En to its first win in over a month, in which the team held Hokkaido to 43 points through three quarters to set up the blowout.
Hunt finished with 22 points on 10-of-14 field goals, 11 rebounds, one block, and one steal for San-En, which ended an eight-game losing streak and is now up to 3-17.
Jelovac added 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
Ravena understandably struggled in his comeback game, only making five points on 2-of-6 shooting, three rebounds, and two assists.
However, he has a chance to bounce back on Sunday when both teams meet again.
Javad Williams led Hokkaido with 15 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and one steal, but he was held to 6-of-16 shooting.
