MANILA--After a whirlwind 2020, Lito Adiwang has started his 2021 on a high note.

Adiwang wowed the Singapore Indoor Stadium with a huge knockout win against Namiki Kawahara to open One: Unbreakable on Friday night.

Adiwang was unfazed against the reigning Deep strawweight champion, who replaced supposed opponent Hexigetu on short notice, all fight long.

Adiwang averted Kawahara's takedown attempt and banked on his kicking prowess to keep the Japanese fighter at bay in Round 1.

The end came at the 2:03 mark of Round 2 when Adiwang connected on a left hook that knocked Kawahara out, prompting the referee to stop the contest.

Adiwang moved up to 12-3 with seven knockouts, while Kawahara fell to 7-4-2.
