MANILA--Four players who starred in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 are officially heading to the PBA Draft.

Alvin Pasaol, Santi Santillan, Troy Rike, and Franky Johnson formally threw their names to the March 14 preseason event after submitting their applications this week.

Pasaol and Santillan were among the latest to do so on Friday.

Pasaol, Santillan, and Rike were members of the Manila Chooks TM squad that won the President's Cup championship as Zamboanga City-Family's Brand Sardines and later played in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Doha Masters.

The three players were considered for the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 team that will compete in the FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament with Pasaol making the final lineup that also has Joshua Munzon, CJ Perez, and Mo Tautuaa.

Johnson, on the other hand, was the main man of Butuan-Uling Roasters in the President's Cup, which took place inside a bubble at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba.

At the moment, 27 players declared for the draft, which is projected to be the most talent laden ever.
