Lito Adiwang to now face Japanese debutant at One: Unbreakable

MANILA--A new challenger has arrived to test the mettle of Filipino mixed martial arts prospect Lito Adiwang.

One Championship announced on Monday that Adiwang will now face Japanese opponent Namiki Kawahara at One: Unbreakable on Friday night at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Kawahara, who is making his debut in One, comes in on a nine-day notice after Adiwang's original foe, Hexigetu, could not make it to Singapore in time for the fight.

Kawahara, however, has championship pedigree on him as he is the current Deep strawweight champion prior to joining One.

Kawahara holds an MMA record of six wins with four by knockout and one by submission, three losses, and two draws with one no contest.
