MANILA--A couple of days after winning it all in the Inner Strength International E-Tournament, James De Los Santos is an e-kata champion again.

For the second time in three days, De Los Santos captured a gold medal after ruling the shotokan e-kata individual male seniors division of the E-Karate World Series Edition 1.

At the release of the gold medal match result on Saturday, De Los Santos, the world number one e-kata player, stomped his dominance again versus world number two Matias Domont of Switzerland, 25.6-24.4.

De Los Santos first defeated Alejandro Sebastian of Spain, 24.8-21.6, in the semifinals.

De Los Santos won his third gold medal overall for 2021.

However, just like what happened on Thursday, Fatima Hamsain, one of De Los Santos' students, stole the show again.

Hamsain scored an e-karate hat trick after winning the female individual under-16 and under-18 divisions and even the female under-15 e-kumite category.

She won the U-16 e-kata gold after beating Zoey Antoun of Germany, 23.9-22.8.

Hamsain then captured the U-15 e-kumite gold after beating Theofili Spanou of Greece, 23.3-21.9.

Hamsain sealed the Saturday treble after winning an all-Filipino final in the U-18 female e-kata event against Christina Colonia, another protege of De Los Santos, 24.4-23.5.

De Los Santos finds his students' 1-2 finish in the U-18 division truly remarkable.

"I'm proud to say that my kata students from MKKPI (Maharlika Karatedo Kai of the Philippines Inc.) have done a job well done in this e-tourney. Congrats ladies! Keep up the great work!" he said.
