PBA approves Amer-Belo trade as Faundo joins Blackwater too

MANILA--Blackwater finally got its prime point guard in Baser Amer and even shored up its frontline as well as the PBA trade committee approved on Thursday the trade that would send Mac Belo to Meralco.

The Bolts sweetened the pot after giving up Bryan Faundo to the Bossing as well in the revised trade package.

Amer is expected to be the starting quarterback for Blackwater even as Faundo will add more ceiling to the lineup as Maurice Shaw is expected to finally get the peak shape he should be at for this season.

Meanwhile, Belo looks to revive his career at Meralco, where he will join a loaded wing rotation led by Allein Maliksi and Bong Quinto.
