MANILA--As a new chapter in his professional basketball ensues, Matt Rosser expressed that he is ready for it.

"I'm excited for what the future holds! Time to work," Rosser said through social media on Tuesday night, hours after the PBA approved the controversial trade wherein he heads to Terrafirma alongside Gelo Alolino, Russel Escoto, the eighth overall pick of this year's draft, and another first round pick for 2023 while CJ Perez, the centerpiece of the swap, goes to San Miguel.

Despite being included in the trade package for Perez, Rosser clarified that there is "no love lost" between him and the Beermen.

In fact, he even took the time to express his gratitude to the entire Beermen community.

"[I'm] grateful for it all! I appreciate all my teammates, coaches, support staff, and Management at San Miguel. Will cherish the memories I made on and off the court. To the San Miguel fans, thank you!" Rosser further said.

In another social media post, Alolino also said thank you to SMB for his "short but sweet stint" with the team.
