MANILA--Ginebra started the second round of the PBA Draft by how they ended Round 1: with a mock draft buster.

The Barangay once again pulled off a surprise in Sunday's draft proceedings by selecting Brian Enriquez as the 13th overall pick of the regular rounds.

Enriquez was categorized among the so-called "mystery men" of the draft due to not much available data about him.

However, the positive feedback that he got during the pre-draft workouts prompted Ginebra to go for him.

The team offered Jerrick Balanza and an option to swap places in the Round 2 to NorthPort to take the 13th pick.

NorthPort went down to number 24 and chose Mark Olayon with the said pick.

Meanwhile, without a first round selection, Blackwater made the most out of the second round by taking former MPBL stars Reymark Acuno and Josh Torralba at 14th and 15th, respectively.

On the other hand, Alaska pulled off a draft surprise of its own by taking Taylor Browne at number 16 even as they then selected Alec Stockton at number 21.

Franky Johnson, who was tipped as a potential first round pick in some late mock drafts, slid to the second round with Rain Or Shine taking him 17th overall.

The team then selected Anton Asistio at number 22 and Andrei Caracut at number 23.

Phoenix, on the other hand, scored a coup by selecting Nick Demusis 18th overall and Aljun Melecio 19th overall, while NLEX took David Murrell 20th overall.
