MANILA--The only team left out from the first week of the PBA resumption, NorthPort is set to return to action this week.

But what awaits the Batang Pier is a hectic stretch that would see them playing three games in four days including back-to-back games this weekend against red-hot teams.

NorthPort will return to action on Thursday night, taking on winless Blackwater.

But after taking the Friday off, the Batang Pier will battle the Terrafirma Dyip on Saturday and the NLEX Road Warriors on Sunday night.

Both Terrafirma and NLEX are entering the week with separate three-game winning streaks.

The Road Warriors, however, will be in an acid test this week as they will take on no less the top two teams in the standings right now, the Magnolia Hotshots on Wednesday and the still unbeaten TNT Tropang Giga on Friday.

The Dyip, on the other hand, will first face the slumping Phoenix Fuel Masters on Thursday.

NorthPort is currently in 11th place at 1-3, but with only four games played so far in the conference, their fate of making the playoffs is well within their hands.
