MANILA--Terrafirma is really for real!

The team showed on Sunday that its current surge midway into the PBA Philippine Cup is not a fluke after walloping Blackwater, 96-84, at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.

Despite Juami Tiongson not performing at par from his last two career-high performances, only making 10 markers on 3-for-11 shooting, his fellow Dyip players carried the fight as they not just kept the Bossing winless but also put themselves in the middle of the team standings which places them in the fight for a Top 6 spot.

Blackwater seemed to be on track of finally notching its first win after taking control of most of the first half en route to a 43-39 halftime lead.

But Terrafirma went full blast in the second half and pulled away for good after a 31-19 fourth quarter.

Aldrech Ramos, who has been consistent also in the past two matches, led the Dyip, who moved up to seventh place at 3-4, with 17 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.

Reden Celda added 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block.

Andreas Cahilig put up a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds along three assists and one block.

Mike Tolomia tallied 14 markers, four boards, and five dimes off the bench for the Bossing, who are now in danger of getting eliminated early after dropping to 0-7.
