Jeremy Miado lands a right hook to Miao Li Tao. ONE Championship |
MANILA--Jeremy Miado proved that his knockout win over Miao Li Tao in their first meeting was no lucky knee strike, completing a similar finish in their rematch at ONE; NextGen on Friday night at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
In his first match in the ONE Championship circle after two years, Miado, who joined Bangkok-based Marrok Force for his training, seemed like he never had ring rust, even performing better.
Although Miao already anticipated the high knee, Miado showed that he has more in his arsenal, unleashing a series of punches early into Round 2 which rocked Miao too much that Referee Justin Brown stepped in at the 50-second mark of the said round to call it a match.
Miado, which has now won three of his last four fights, moved up to 10-4 in his career, while Miao fell to 6-5.
