MANILA--TNT's quest to capture the PBA Philippine Cup championship suffered a blow on Sunday night after Troy Rosario hurt his hand late in the third quarter of the third game of the best-of-seven series against Magnolia at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
Based on observations, Rosario dislocated his left pinkie finger after he fell badly while trying a layup against Jack Corpuz.
He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for surgery.
Corpuz, on the other hand, was whistled for a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2 and was sent off in the process.
Rosario only had two points, both through free throws, and three rebounds in a little over 12 minutes of play prior to his departure.
The Hotshots, down 0-2 in the finals, are ahead of the Tropang Giga as of posting.
