MANILA--After falling just short in the Leg 1 final, Meralco finally won it all.

Meralco clinched the second leg of the PBA 3x3 season after once again getting the better of Platinum Karaoke through a 21-16 win in the final on Thursday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Tonino Gonzaga, who has been Meralco's main man in terms of scoring, led the team's blistering start as he scored five of his seven points in its early 10-3 lead.

Chris Dechavez came alive as he tried to lead Platinum's comeback, but Joseph Sedurifa, Dexter Maiquez, and Alfred Batino helped close out the win for Meralco, which repeated its stunning Leg 1 semifinal victory against the same Platinum team.

Taking home PHP100,000 for its Leg 2 win, Meralco has now amassed a total of PHP150,000 worth of earnings in this FIBA 3x3 Level 4 event.

Platinum, on the other hand, settled for a PHP50,000 runner-up prize despite an 11-point explosion from Dechavez.

On the other hand, TNT took third place with a 21-14 win over Limitless in the repechage.

The Tropang Giga banked on a solid balanced attack to take down the Appmasters for the PHP30,000 pot money.
