PASAY--Fran Yu continued on making an impression in the Chooks-to-Go MPBL Invitational as his heroics down the stretch helped Pasig take down Bacoor City, 76-67, in the nightcap of the Wednesday games at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Yu scored six points within the last 4:02 of the game including a huge three-pointer with 3:11 remaining and the eventual dagger jumper with 1:28 to go as the Realtors repulsed the Strikers in the end after both teams were toe-to-toe for most of the match.
Cedrick Ablaza put up 18 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and one block to lead Pasig, which is now 2-0 in Pool A play.
Yu added 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, and one block.
Mark Doligon put up 15 markers, four boards, four dimes, and two steals for Bacoor City.
