MANILA--Purefoods reigned supreme in the fourth leg of the PBA 3x3 after edging Meralco in the final, 21-16, on Sunday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Pao Javelona sizzled for the TJ Titans, accounting for nearly half of their total score, 10 points, in particular, to lead them to their first leg title.

Joseph Eriobu added five markers, while Jed Mendoza and Jun-Jun Bonsubre each had three as they took home PHP100,000.

But it was their defense that mattered in this one as they held Zags Gonzaga, who has been the Bolts' firepower offensively, to just five points.

Alfred Batino and Joseph Sedurifa tried to save the day for Meralco, each tallying five points as well, but the team, which also had one point from Dexter Maiquez, fell short and settled for the PHP50,000 runner-up prize.

In the battle for third place, TNT emerged victorious after a wild finish and beat Platinum, 21-20.

Almond Vosotros fired 12 points to lead the Tropang Giga in taking home the PHP30,000 pot for the bronze medalists.

Samboy De Leon had seven points, while Lervin Flores chipped in two.

Chris De Chavez remains the high-point man for Platinum with nine in a game where Karl Dehesa was held scoreless.

Ryan Monteclaro added eight markers, while JR Alabanza put up three.
