MANILA--The fans' own countdown to the 2023 FIBA World Cup is set to begin on March 1 when tickets for the said event will finally be released.

And for Gilas Pilipinas fans who want to watch the games live, they can avail of the early bird promo where up to five games are covered.

The five-ticket "Follow My Team Pass – Philippines" package costs PHP2,499 for general admission, PHP23,499 for upper box, PHP41,499 for lower box regular, and PHP52,999 for lower box premium.

The fans, however, might need to act fast because only 1,100 Gilas passes would be available until March 31.

The Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, and the Philippine Arena in Bocaue have been designated as the Philippine stops for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, which also has Indonesia and Japan as joint hosts.

“The journey for the FIBA World Cup 2023 in Manila starts now. Be the first to support your Gilas team by purchasing the Follow my Team Pass – Philippines. Together, let’s win for all,” said Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president and FIBA Asia vice president Al Panlilio.
