MANILA--No more doubt, this time.

Ham Seo-Hee proved on Saturday night that the judges were right in handing her the controversial win over Denice Zamboanga in their first encounter with a more impressive one in their highly-anticipated rematch at ONE: X at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Despite a blistering start from Zamboanga, Ham took control of the fight the rest of the way thanks to her solid ground game.

There were talks of the match being postponed anew after Ham struggled to make weight and pass the hydration test.

It looked like the case in the first round when Zamboanga quickly unfurled a bunch of strikes that she found tough to defend.

However, an accidental headbutt slowed down the pace of the first round, although Zamboanga still took Ham down to seemingly take the first five minutes.

But a mishandling of a takedown in Round 2 turned the tides for the match as Ham turned Zamboanga's takedown attempt to her favor instead.

In the final round, Ham took Zamboanga down and used the ground game to her advantage as the latter failed to bounce back.

Ham moved up to 25-8 in her career, winning for the eighth straight time, while possibly earning a future shot at the ONE women's atomweight title against the winner of the Angela Lee-Nanthawan "Stamp Fairtex" Panthong showdown later Saturday.

Zamboanga, on the other, dropped her second straight bout since going 8-0 to start her career as she may now need to move some places back from the line before her shot at ONE Championship gold.
