Jeremy Miado takes all-Filipino fight as Lito Adiwang suffers knee injury

MANILA--Jeremy Miado prevailed over Lito Adiwang in their all-Filipino showdown at ONE: X on Saturday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

However, the manner Miado beat Adiwang was anti-climactic.

Adiwang tweaked his right knee while trying to set up his punches to Miado, and seeing that the former could not continue on, Referee Olivier Coste halted the match at the 2:56 mark of Round 2.

Miado's win was officially ruled as a technical knockout, his sixth for his career, as he moved up to 11-4 overall.

Adiwang, on the other hand, fell to 13-5, and how painful his injury is remains to be seen.
