MANILA—Redel Fabro posted the NBL's first-ever 50-point blast on Saturday as Narvacan barged into the win column with a 119-99 blowout win over Cagayan Valley at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena.

Fabro exploded for 51 points, making 18-for-28 from the field including an impressive 10-of-14 shooting from beyond the arc to lead the Panthers, who bounced back from a 90-114 loss to the Las Piñas Lodis during Sunday's opening games in Malolos.

Narvacan held Cagayan Valley to just 18 points in the second quarter before erupting for 42 in the third to set up the blowout.

Fabro also tallied 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block for the 1-1 Panthers, while Paolo Casia added 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block.

Dahrell Caranguian had his own explosion with 39 markers alongside six boards, seven dimes, two steals, and one rejection for the Water Buffalos, who fell to 0-2.

In the first game, Bulacan gave Makati a rude welcome to the NBL with a 102-87 rout to go up to 2-0 in the standings.
