MANILA--TNT formalized its entry to the PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals with a 127-107 ripping of Terrafirma on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Still with a chance to clinch a twice-to-beat advantage in the knockout stages, the Tropang Giga succeeded in their first job, which is to first secure a playoff seat thanks to a solid offensive game.

TNT gradually pulled away from Terrafirma by pounding them inside the shaded lane, leading to 74 points off layups, hook shots, and dunks and an impressive 76 percent shooting from the two-point area.

The Tropang Giga also played near flawless basketball where they committed only seven turnovers all game long.

Aaron Fuller made 24 points on 11-of-14 shooting, 12 rebounds, one assist, three steals, and three blocks for TNT, which can formally clinch the quarterfinal incentive with a win against NorthPort on Friday night.

Mikey Williams added 16 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

Antonio Hester fired 30 markers, 13 boards, one dime, and one steal for Terrafirma, which will finish its campaign in the season-ending conference at 2-9.
