UAAP S84: Ateneo remains undefeated after beating UST

MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo remains undefeated at the first round of the UAAP S84, as they beat the rebuilding UST Growling Tigers with 91-80, Saturday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Tyler Tio’s career high 20 points led the Blue Eagles win. Together with BJ Andrade who chipped in 10 points and Chris Koon and SJ Belangel both chipped in nine points for the Blue Eagles win.

Sherwin Concepcion led the Growling Tigers with 20 points and seven rebounds. Captain Paul Manalang also chipped in 10 points for the Growling Tigers.

With the Blue Eagles win, they remain undefeated with 7-0 while the Growling Tigers became 2-5.
