UAAP S84: NU outlasts winless UE

MANILA, Philippines — NU Bulldogs outlasts UE Red Warriors with 77-61 win, Saturday morning at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Michael Malonzo led the Bulldogs win with 12 points, 10 rebounds and a block. John Lloyd Clemente and John Galinato chipped in 12 and 9 points for the Bulldogs win.

Kyle Paranada led the Warriors with 12 points and three steals.Aurin Catacutan and Jeremy Cruz both chipped in 11 and 10 points for the Warriors win but still not enough for a win.

With the Bulldogs win, they finish the first round of the UAAP S84 Basketball with 4-3 standing. While UE, still winless, stays at 0-7. 

Despite the two game ban, UE Head Coach Jack Santiago, still on temporary suspension that’s why he is not seen at today’s game of UE against NU.
