UAAP S84: UST defeats winless UE

MANILA, Philippines — UST Growling Tigers finally back at the winning column as they beat the winless UE Red Warriors, 72-61, Tuesday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Dave Ando led the Growling Tigers win with his career high 16 points, 7/12 field goals and 12 rebounds. While Sherwin Concepcion chipped in 17 points with the help of Nic Cabanero who chipped in 11 points for the Tigers win.

Kyle Paranada and Harvey Pagsanjan led the Warriors with 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Despite Bryan Santos absence at today’s match-up, UST is now at 3-4 standing while UE still at 0-7.

UST will try to keep their winning streak as they will face the DLSU Green Archers while UE still try to gain a win as they will face the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Both games are on Tuesday, April 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
