Liman shows class, ousts Cebu Chooks from Manila Masters contention

PARAÑAQUE—Cebu City Chooks' stint in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Manila Masters came to an abrupt end on Sunday after world number three Liman Huishan NE dealt the team an 11-21 quarterfinal defeat at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Activity Center.

Liman began the game on an 18-4 run within the first six minutes, and Cebu never bounced back from there.

Mihailo Vasic led Liman, which set up a semifinal battle against Sansar MMC Energy later Sunday, with eight points.

Nebojsa Kilijan added seven markers, Stefan Kojic chipped in five, and Aleksandar Ratkov scored one point.

Zach Huang and Mac Tallo each scored four points, while Mike Harry Nzeusseu added three for Cebu City.
