MANILA--Roosevelt Adams will make his Gilas Pilipinas debut after he was inserted to the national team roster that will battle Saudi Arabia in the fourth window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

As announced by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on Monday, hours before the 7 p.m. tip-off, the former Terrafirma star, who is rumored for a move to the Japan B.League, will replace Carl Tamayo even as Coach Chot Reyes opted to keep the rest of the lineup that played Lebanon on Friday in Zouk Mikael.

Tamayo will be joining his fellow UP Fighting Maroons in a preseason tour in South Korea where they will play five KBL squads, three of which have tapped Filipinos as their Asian imports.

Adams will join Jordan Clarkson, Kai Sotto, Japeth Aguilar, Scottie Thompson, Chris Newsome, Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena, Dwight Ramos, Jamie Malonzo, Ray-Ray Parks, and Calvin Oftana in the Gilas team looking to bounce back from its tough loss at Lebanon.
