QUEZON CITY--Matthew Wright has bid adieu to Phoenix as he now officially enters free agency.

The six-foot-four gunner's contract has expired on Wednesday, and in an Instagram post, he gave a thanksgiving to the entire Fuel Master community for its support in his six seasons with the team.

"It has been an unforgettable 6 years with the Fuel Masters. Thank you to all my coaches, teammates, ball boys and bosses for being apart of this chapter in my life. Most importantly thank you to all the fans who have supported me through thick and thin. I love you all," Wright said.

The 31-year-old swingman was drafted in the 2016 PBA Draft as Phoenix's pick in the special Gilas Pilipinas round fresh from winning a championship in the ABL with the KL Dragons.

Wright would win two All-Star MVP awards and has also made the Mythical First Team.

Recent rumors have linked Wright to a move to the Japan B.League.
