CARMONA--Blackwater may have solved Converge's offensive puzzles.

But "mayhem" might have been unleashed too.

The FiberXers banked on their defense on a night their offense could not get the job done and pipped the Bossing, 77-71, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Two nights after dropping a franchise-high 130 points, Converge could only hit 32 of 99 field goals the entire game even as the team only dished 12 assists the entire game against the 34 it had on Friday.

However, the Aldin Ayo-coached club made it up in the scheme Ayo is known for, holding Blackwater to only 30 percent shooting and only 12 points in the fourth quarter to walk away with the win.

Quincy Miller bucked foul trouble and led the FiberXers, who won for the fourth straight time to move up to solo third place at 5-2, with 22 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals.

Alec Stockton added a career-high 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Cam Krutwig paced the Bossing, who lost back-to-back games to fall to 10th place at 3-5, with 16 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
