QUEZON CITY--Blackwater scored probably its biggest win in recent memory, stunning San Miguel, 109-106, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Bossing completed a huge comeback from 15 points down with Baser Amer and Mike Ayonayon finishing the job in the end.

Amer gave Blackwater the lead with 32.9 seconds left after hitting a right corner three, although he failed to complete a four-point play off a Chris Ross foul.

Ayonayon then intercepted CJ Perez's pass and went all alone for the layup with 22.8 seconds to go.

SMB tried to force overtime, but Blackwater's tough defense forced Marcio Lassiter and Diamond Stone to tough three-pointers that would only clank the rim before time ran out.

Cam Krutwig led the Bossing, who moved up to 2-2, with 20 points 18 rebounds, 10 assists, and two blocks.

Troy Rosario added 13 points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal.

June Mar Fajardo came up with 23 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, one block, and three steals to lead the Beermen, whose bid for back-to-back titles began on a sour note.

Stone, Meralco's import for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup but came in on a two-day notice to replace the injured Thomas Robinson, finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, and two assists in his PBA debut.
