PASIG—Jericho Cruz played his best performance in a San Miguel jersey, leading the team to a sound 131-103 beating against an all-Filipino Terrafirma squad in their PBA Commissioner's Cup meeting on Wednesday night at the PhilSports Arena.

Cruz went 6-for-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 25 points alongside one rebound and three assists for the Beermen, who slowly stomped their class on the Dyip, who dearly missed import Lester Prosper.

Devon Scott added a triple-double of 21 points, 19 rebounds, and 11 assists with one block and three steals for SMB, which moved up to sixth place in the team standings at 5-5.

June Mar Fajardo made a triumphant return from his throat surgery and finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal.

Juami Tiongson fired a game-high 28 points with three rebounds and four assists for Terrafirma, which was quickly brought back to earth after snapping a 25-game losing streak against NLEX on Friday.

Prosper had to stay at home after he was placed under the PBA's health and safety protocols.
