PASAY—Drex Zamboanga prevailed despite a gallant stand from Adonis Sevilleno in their all-Filipino fight at ONE 164 on Saturday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Sevilleno, the winner of the ONE Warrior Series Philippines, showed heart early on, but Zamboanga's veteran smarts proved vital especially in the last two rounds of their intense battle.

Sevilleno took it into Zamboanga in Round 1, even coming close to a rear-naked choke that could have surprised the fans of the former URCC bantamweight champion.

However, Zamboanga recovered in the last two rounds and slowed a gassed Sevilleno down to secure the unanimous decision victory.

Zamboanga improved to 10-5 as a pro, winning his last four fights, while Sevilleno fell to 2-3.
