Jhanlo Sangiao submits LA Lauron via rear naked choke. ONE Championship

PASAY—Jhanlo Sangiao made quick work of LA Lauron in their all-Filipino bout to cap the lead card of ONE 164 on Saturday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Both fighters quickly went at it at the opening bell, but Sangiao's experience turned out to overpower Lauron's potential as the former performed a rear naked choke that forced the latter to tap out at the 1:48 mark of Round 1.

Sangiao, the son of Team Lakay head coach Mark, even impressed ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong that he received a US$50,000 (nearly PHP2.8 million) prize for Performance of the Night honors.

Jhanlo remains unbeaten at 5-0, while Lauron fell to 1-1.
