QUEZON CITY—Filipino fans will not be the only keen observers of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.
As relayed by EASL chief executive officer Matt Bayer to Quinito Henson, the host of the pre-finals press conference at Novotel Araneta City, on Friday, all the games between Ginebra and Bay Area for the championship gold in the mid-season conference will be streamed too in the EASL and Bay Area's Facebook pages.
This means fans from Hong Kong and mainland China will get to watch the matches as well, marking a rare time that the PBA will have an international audience for its championship series.
Game 1 will be held on Christmas night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay before the league finishes the calendar year 2022 with Game 2 on Dec. 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum here.
The Finals will resume on Jan. 4 with Game 3 also at the MOA Arena, where Games 4 and 5 will also be played.
In another update, Game 6 on Jan. 11, if necessary, will now be played at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, while, Game 7 will be held on Jan. 13 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue as initially scheduled.
