MANILA—Juan Gomez De Liaño was held scoreless in a start for the BC Wolves, but his teammates made up for his struggles as the Lithuanian side completed a fourth-quarter comeback to beat Tartu Ulikool, 79-77, at the start of its campaign in the European North Basketball League early Tuesday (Philippine Time) at the University of Tartu Sports Hall in Tartu, Estonia.

Clutch free throws from Jeff Taylor and Kristupas Zemaitis as well as huge stops down the stretch won it for the Wolves as they finished the game on a 15-4 run to climb back from a late nine-point lead.

Taylor, who began his pro career with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA, led the Vilnius-based club with 22 points, three rebounds, one assist, three steals, and one block.

Eric Buckner and Adas Juskevicius each added 13 points with Buckner also grabbing 11 rebounds for the double-double.

Andrii Voinalovych made 17 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one block, Tomas Pavelka added 16 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and four blocks, and Jalan McCloud put up 15 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals for Tartu.
